Which MMA cage size should I choose?
Choosing the size of your MMA cage will of course depend on the space available in your premises and the use you plan to make of it. We offer 4x4m cages, ideal for use at home or in small rooms, right up to 6x6m models for sports centers and specialized clubs with dedicated spaces. For limited installations where versatility is an important factor, you can order folding MMA cages.
As for use: if your floor space permits, a larger size will allow better circulation in the cage. For professional gyms or in-house competitions, opting for a larger model ensures a more realistic and comfortable fighting experience for your athletes.
Technical features of our equipment :
Although each cage has different characteristics in terms of size, equipment, maneuverability (foldable or not), they are designed to be resistant and durable.
What are our MMA cages made of?
Our MMA cages are made from a high-strength steel structure, ensuring unfailing robustness.
The 350 MPA reinforced steel mesh guarantees safety, preventing any risk of deformation even in the event of repeated impacts on the panels. The powder-coated finish of the structure protects against corrosion, to last over time and maintain its integrity, even in damp environments. The panels are fitted with pad corners at the junctions to absorb impacts and guarantee safety. The bindings ensure perfect stability for even the most intense sessions.
How high are our fighting cages?
Crossliftor octagonal MMA cages have a panel height of 1.8 meters. This means your fighters can lean on the structure without the risk of toppling over, unlike more conventional boxing rings. The height is perfect for securing movements and practicing different techniques in real-life conditions: cage control, clinching...
The 1.105-meter wide door provides easy access without requiring too much space to be cleared around it.
Which accessories are right for you?
To complete your fighting space, we offer a complete and varied range of accessories at affordable prices. Reinforced corner guards provide extra safety when bumping into panels. These accessories are also available as replacements if necessary, so that you can maintain your structure over the long term without having to buy a complete cage.
Optional 32 mm-thick tatami mats provide good cushioning to reduce the risk of injury when throwing or working on the floor. If you wish to mount your cage on a podium or an already-covered surface, you can opt for the models without tatamis. In our other categories, you'll also find everything you need to equip your space: MMA gloves, bear paws, punching bags and grappling bags, and different sizes of shields.
How to maintain your cages?
To maintain your MMA cages, clean the mesh and panels with a mild detergent, paying particular attention to areas that accumulate sweat, dust and fight residues. Allow to dry thoroughly to prevent corrosion. Check foam protectors as far as possible and replace any damaged ones to ensure the safety of your fighters. If you have tatami mats, you can use a conventional non-abrasive disinfectant to preserve their antibacterial treatment. We recommend that you regularly check the fastenings to maintain the stability of the structure. This will extend the life of your cage and ensure a safe environment for your athletes.
Why choose an MMA octagon cage?
Even if your venue isn't solely focused on MMA, an octagonal MMA cage is still an excellent option for various types of training. The octagon structure optimizes floor space, which is particularly useful in medium-sized venues.
Fighters can exploit the mesh walls to work on throws and opponent control, while benefiting from a safe environment thanks to corner protections. The octagonal design also offers better movement management than rectangular cages, providing the best possible simulation of real-life combat conditions. However, if you prefer to equip yourself with a ring, we also offer a 5-meter folding boxing ring.
